Crystal clear against the night
Twinkling stars are shining bright.
Tiny pinpricks point the way
Silent voices boldly say,
“See the awesome works of God!”
Scribbled drawings, jotted notes
Murmured comfort, Scripture quotes
Merely words, but true and kind,
Help the angry, hurt, resigned,
See the awesome works of God!
Stepping in to meet a need,
Sharing freely, sowing Seed,
Showing others our concern.
All we long for in return?
See the awesome works of God
We, like shining stars, can give
Light to all by how we live.
Jesus, guide us as we share;
May our deeds and words declare,
“See the awesome works of God!”
